When hunting for the best gifts for RV owners, remember the number one criteria – be conscious of space. When you live in an RV, you focus on traveling with functional items that don’t take up much room.
If you’re searching for the perfect RV camping gifts, you’ll want to make sure the item passes the following test:
- makes good use of storage space
- isn’t too heavy
- easy to clean
- durable for an outdoor on-the-move lifestyle
- bonus points if it’s multi-functional!
With those points in mind, below is a gift guide of 22 practical gifts for RV owners that they didn’t know they needed.
Outdoor Gear RV Gifts
Here are a few of our favorite RV gift ideas that make a camper outdoor living space a bit more cozy and allow RV owners to really enjoy their camping site.
1. Portable Fire Pit
A fire at a campsite is the ultimate camping vibe. But every site doesn’t have a fire pit.
RVers who have a portable fire pit have the desirable benefit of sitting around the fire no matter where they are!
There are outdoor portable propane fire pits and wood-burning fire pits. Most notably, the wood-burning Solo Stove is very popular among RVers, known for having an almost smokeless fire.

- Portable stainless steel outdoor fire pit
- 19.5 x 14 inches
- Available in other colors and sizes
However, an advantage of propane fire pits is being able to use them during fire restrictions. Propane pits are also easier to keep clean.

- Perfect 'no mess' alternative to a wood-burning fire
- Lightweight, compact, and portable
- When there are fire restrictions, you can usually still use these at campgrounds
NOTE: Fire pits are pretty large items. I suggest feeling out this gift option to ensure the receiver has enough room to carry it in their RV.
You can find portable gas fire pit options here and all Solo Stove wood-burning fire pit options here.
2. Outdoor Blanket
There’s no better gift for a camper than a cozy blanket to snuggle up in by the fire.
We love the Rumpl brand. This brand took the warmth provided from a sleeping bag and basically made a sleeping bag a blanket. Their blankets have all the same synthetic down fabric used to create a first-rate sleeping bag, so you don’t have to compromise on quality. They come in 1-person, 2-person, and travel size, and pack away into a small stuff sack like a sleeping bag.
If you haven’t picked up on it by now, I get cold easily and always have a blanket nearby. My favorite feature? No more trying to wrap up in your blanket and having it slide off your shoulder. These blankets have a small clip along the edge so you can wear your blanket like a cape!
RVers basically live outside, which is why I genuinely love these outdoor blankets as gifts for people with RVs!

- NanoLoft® recycled synthetic fibers
- 75 x 52 inches, packed size is 6 x 14 inches
- 1lb. 12.8oz.
The Rumpl blanket would also make a great gift for campervan owners since it can easily double as a comforter creating massive space savings!
You can find the complete Rumpl Nanoloft® Blanket collection here.
3. Inflatable Solar Lights
The Luci Light is an inflatable, rechargeable light available in a traditional white hue, but we prefer the color version.
These are fun gifts for RV owners since they allow you to create the perfect ambiance depending on which color setting you choose. Can’t choose? Set the light to rotate through the color selections! The Luci Light is a great alternative or addition to string lights.
These lights are also solar-powered and waterproof – ideal for boondocking and great by the pool or lake.

- Lights up in 8 different colors
- Rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts up to 6 hours
- Durable, lightweight, and even waterproof
For storage, deflate and store flat. You can find all of the solar-powered Luci Light options here.
4. Outdoor Cooking Gear
If you’re want to get a great gift for an RV owner, you can’t miss with outdoor cooking gear.
There’s something about cooking a meal outside in the fresh and open air that is the embodiment of RV living.
We have personally used the portable Weber propane grill and love its compact nature when stored, as well as the overall quality.

However, we couldn’t overlook the propane Blackstone griddle for this list due to its popularity in the RV community.
At the time of writing this, both of these products have five stars on Amazon, each with thousands of reviews. RV owners will get a quality outdoor cooking experience with either of these portable cooking appliances!
NOTE: As with the fire pit on this list, keep in mind that these grills and griddles are pretty large. If you are gifting this to a full-time RVer or an RVer with a small rig, make sure they have the capacity and space to carry it.
Electronic RV Gifts
Here are a few of our favorite gadgets that are great tools for solving RV maintenance issues, offer power solutions, and make life in a small space and little more manageable.
5. Portable Battery Pack
RVers understand the importance of resources, especially power. Something we can’t live without on the road is a beefy battery bank. These are essential for when we don’t have access to a charging port or just need extra power at our disposal.
Some battery packs are a bit lacking and will only charge your tablet or phone for half a charge. However, ones like the Anker will charge your phone, tablet, and then some.
This pack even has more than one port to charge multiple devices at the same time.

- External battery pack with 3 USB ports (charge 3 devices at once)
- 26,800mAh of power charges most phones over 6 times (tablets at least 2 times)
- Dual input port that supports recharging twice as fast
This functional electronic accessory is a thoughtful gift to help RVers stay connected when power is scarce.
6. WiFi-Enabled Borescope
Every RV owner needs a borescope in their toolset. It’s one of those helpful tools you are so glad to have when you need it.
The borescope is wifi-enabled and allows you to get a look inside any small hard-to-reach area or tank you can’t physically see in your RV.
The cable on the borescope houses a waterproof camera that feeds recorded and real-time footage to a device (phone, tablet, etc.) via WiFi. You can retrieve cables and other objects with the hook and magnetic attachments.

- IP67 waterproof
- WiFi accessible via Android and iOS Smartphone, iPhone, iPad, Samsung
- 11.5 foot snake camera cord
There are a ton of uses we can think of for this versatile little camera, but we mostly have it for reasons we can’t think of! It’s one of the handiest items for RV maintenance and repair.
7. Bluetooth Headphones
When you live or travel in a small space, you can’t always find a place to enjoy music, a movie, or your favorite podcast.
Headphones allow RVers the opportunity to listen to entertainment or educational videos or podcasts without disturbing others in the RV (and vice versa).
Bluetooth headphones are especially handy, allowing you to move about the RV, walk outside, or do whatever else you need without the burden of cords.

- Up to 11 hours of use on one charge
- Wireless charging case included
8. Headlamp
RVing goes hand-in-hand with the outdoors, and that includes being outside at night. Whether you’re making food around the campfire, sifting through storage in the back of the truck, or out for a nighttime walk – headlamps are helpful!
The convenience of pointing your light without needing an extra hand is necessary for an outdoor RV environment.
A headlamp is especially helpful when trying to fix one of the many things that can break on an RV or if you have to set up camp after sunset.

- Rechargeable LED headlamp, 950 lumens
- Neutral white light with five brightness settings and auxiliary red light
- IPX8 waterproof
We suggest a USB rechargeable headlamp with an output of around 1000 lumens. We highly recommend the Fenix brand above for quality lighting products.
Kitchen Accessory RV Gifts
Living in a small kitchen with minimal resources makes you think twice about what small appliances and kitchen tools you have. Here are a few durable and versatile gifts for RVers they’ll love in their tiny cooking space.
9. Bees Wax Wraps
Saving space in an RV fridge is usually a challenge. Unless there’s a residential fridge, storing food is always a bit tricky and requires some former Tetris training.
Bees wax wraps are great for RVs because they maximize space for storing items such as fruit, veggies, and cheeses without the need for single-use plastics.

- Made of certified organic cotton (plastic and silicone free)
- Washes easily with soap and cold water
- Made in Vermont, USA
Bees wax wraps are a great gift for the eco-friendly RV owner!
PRO TIP: You can also use these wraps to cover a bowl or tuber ware. Just don’t let them sit in the hot sun, or the wax will melt.
10. Stainless Steel Wine Tumblers
These stemless, shatterproof wine glasses are essential for RV living.
As someone who usually prefers glass or plastic over metal drinkware – I love these glasses.
The Hausgard brand has a thin lip that is comfortable to drink from. They also don’t leave a weird metallic aftertaste like some other brands.

Why these glasses work for RVing:
- Stainless steel wine tumblers are light and portable for easy use in the outdoors.
- These unbreakable glasses are more eco-friendly than plastic or acrylic glasses.
- They won’t rust – we had them RVing and on the boat for over two years, and unlike other stainless steel items, they are free of any surface rust. (The Hausgard brand is 304 food-grade steel).
A friend gifted us the above wine glass set from Hausgard that we use almost daily.
11. Microfiber Towel Set
These microfiber cleaning towels are the perfect gifts for campers who have everything.
They clean with just water, allowing RVers to save space and avoid toting around a ton of liquid cleaners and paper towels.
Don’t be fooled by the lesser-quality microfiber towels. The option below is much more durable and efficient than the cheaper brands. The different colors in the set allow you to assign specific colors to various cleaning areas – kitchen, bathroom, etc.

- Microfiber cloths that are perfect for cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and more
- Cleans with water only
- 300 wash guarantee
- 5-pack also includes a window polishing/cleaning cloth
We recommend the above eco-cloth set, which also includes a window cleaning cloth.
BONUS: I personally love that these allow us to minimize paper towel usage providing a sustainable option for keeping your RV clean!
12. Instant Pot
I have not personally used an Instant Pot in an RV, but it receives rave reviews in the RV community and deserves a place on this list.
The Instant Pot is large but multi-functional. It can be used as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, and more. You can steam, saute, and even make yogurt in this electric pot.
Instant Pots come in a variety of sizes and versions. Some even give you the option of dehydrating or air frying!

- Multi-functional electric cooker
- Use for pressure cooking, slow cooking, steaming, sauteeing
- Also features rice cooker and yogurt maker settings
- 6-quart
For an RVer who loves to cook and enjoys different options for cooking meals, this item can be an asset in an RV kitchen. See all options for Instant Pots here.

Camping Clothing Gifts
RV owners tend to like spending time outdoors. But the outdoor elements can take a toll on everyday clothes. There is also a limited amount of room in an RV for a large wardrobe. Here are a few quality essentials that RVers will love to wear and use!
13. Wide-Brim Hat
Wide-brim hats are a necessity for an RV outdoor lifestyle. Whether you’re maintaining your rig or enjoying the outdoors, you will often be outside in the sun.
If you’re on the hunt for a splurge-worthy gift for your favorite outdoor lover, a quality wide-brim hat is a winner!
We love the Tilley Airflo hat. Its UPF 50+ protection, water-repellant material, and excellent ventilation make this wide-brim hat the perfect companion in an outdoor setting. On the trails or off, rain or shine – RV owners will love this hat.

- Great for hiking, camping, sailing, and other outdoor adventures
- Dual drawstring closure
NOTE: These hats are sized by head circumference in inches to get the best fit.
14. Sun Wrap
UPF 50+ sun wraps or cardigans are my favorite wardrobe essential for RV life. They protect you from the sun (meaning less sunscreen), they layer well, and you can easily dress them up or down.
We love the wraps from Coolibar that come in a couple of different styles and a ton of colors.
These particular wraps are made of the perfect blend of bamboo and cotton, making them both lightweight and durable.
This makes them the perfect thoughtful gift for your RVing lady!

15. Wool Socks
The perfect gift idea for the outdoorsy RV owner on your list – you can never have too many pairs of quality wool socks.
Whether you’re headed out on a summer hike or just enjoying small adventures – wool socks are the best for your feet!
Wool has anti-microbial properties that keep it from smelling, and its moisture-wicking properties keep feet dry. Wool socks also keep your feet warm at night when temps drop.
The above benefits make wool socks an excellent option for minimizing your wardrobe and laundry days.

- Breathable, light-weight wool blend hiking sock
- Merino Wool is both odor-resistant and eco-friendly
We have been wearing Smartwool’s hiking socks for years, ever since moving to Colorado. Here is a variety of Smartwool outdoor socks to check out.
16. Fleece Jacket
Fleece jackets are an essential clothing item when traveling in most of the US. Useful for nights spent fireside and cool fall or winter days.
Fleece provides the perfect light-weight jacket that is great for layering as the weather shifts.
I personally love Patagonia’s ‘Better Sweater’ fleeces. My favorite is the full-zip hoodie fleece, but all their options are the same comfortable and durable material, perfect for RV life and outdoor living.

- Sweater-knit face with a soft fleece interior
- Front zip-closure with three exterior pockets
- Available in various colors and styles for men and women
PRO TIP: The ‘Better Sweater’ jackets have a fitted cut. If the person you are buying for likes a bigger fit, I recommend sizing up.
17. Hair Wrap Towel
These stylish hair wraps are great for wrapping up your locks after a shower or dip in the lake. They are ideal for use on your trip to the campground bath facilities too.

- Great for home, travel, or the beach
- Absorbent and quick dry head towel
- Available in various colors
We’ve found towels that are a bit more absorbent, but we love the comfort of these hair wraps from Dock & Bay. They dry super quick too!
18. Packing Cubes
In an RV, space is finite. Organization becomes crucial to keep the RV from looking like a bomb went off.
An excellent tool for RVers to use for clothing organization is packing cubes.
Packing cubes are especially handy for off-season clothes or items that might not get used regularly, such as swimwear.
I suggest having a few different size options for storing large items like pullovers and pants and smaller items such as tank tops and activewear. You can also use packing cubes to organize extra towels and sheets.
Because the cubes zip closed, you can maximize space by rolling items and packing efficiently.

Suggested Packing Cube Products
Here are a few of our favorite packing cube sets. We like the slim packing cubes for RVers that live with even more limited storage space.

Memberships & Subscription Gifts
Here are a couple of our favorite membership and subscription gifts for RV travelers to make living on the road more enjoyable.
19. Harvest Hosts Membership
This membership is a great gift for RVers who like to boondock and enjoy a little adventure. The Harvest Hosts Membership allows RVers to stay at farms, breweries, wineries, and more across the US. Parking is free for one night – reservations are required.

This is a great way for RVers to visit unique spots and get free RV parking on their next road trip.

20. Audiobook Subscription
When you spend as much time behind the wheel as RVers do, you occasionally need some entertainment. Audiobooks are something everyone can listen to together and make travel days and road trips more enjoyable.

Audible is one of our favorite subscription services. On the Premium Plus plan, you receive one credit or audiobook download per month.

21. National Parks Pass
The ‘American the Beautiful Pass’ gives the holder access to all of the U.S. national parks, as well as many other government-managed areas.

What’s really great about this pass? It covers up to four adults or everyone in a personal vehicle where the national park entry is charged per vehicle. With a price of just $80 per pass, this affordable gift provides a ton of value! Not to mention, there are a lot of camping and parking discounts for Forest Service and Fish and Wildlife areas.
- Honored at sites managed by the Forest Service, National Park Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and Army Corps of Engineers
- Good for the entrance of the vehicle driver, plus all passengers in a personal vehicle at per-vehicle fee areas or up to four adults if area charges a per person fee
- Valid for one year from the month of purchase
We recommend purchasing this pass from REI for fast shipping!
22. ‘Last Resort’ Gift Card
When in doubt, you can always get a camper owner an Amazon gift card.
I guarantee almost every RVer has been eyeing a few different items for their motorhome, campervan, or travel trailer. Most of us even have an Amazon wish list of the items we’re watching.

You can purchase an Amazon gift card for your favorite RVer here.
The Perfect Camping RV Gifts
Whether it’s outdoor gear, something for the kitchen, or a clothing item – most RVers appreciate gifts that can make living tiny in an outdoor environment easier or more comfortable. If you can help with that, they’ll be a happy camper!
